Depends...Frostwire is Limewire with some restrictions lifted, particularly in the area of sharing licensed content, but I'm sure there are ways around this with Limewire. An important note here on supposedly 'licensed' content files: Microsoft's WMA and WMV files contain a licensing feature that can allow malicious content to infect your computer, ergo, NEVER trade these formats unless you know the originating source, and get a good antivirus program such as NOD32 which, in most cases, will detect such content BEFORE it infects your PC.
Both suggest Java 1.6 but if you have problems getting either of them to run, uninstall 1.6 and install the older version 1.5. Unfortunately, Frostwire tries to force you to download/install 1.6. Same thing though, if you let it install the update and have problems, uninstall 1.6 and get 1.5. You don't have to do anything with Frostwire/Limewire in any case.
Otherwise, one is blue; the other is green.
Bittorrent is better if you want a complete album.

I don't know about Frostwire but I assume that like Lime wire it will leave your computer wide open for hackers and viruses.
