& they're the only cab service in town. 1 driver is taking all the rounds. Do you think you would need your own car if you were in this predicament?

Sadly, I've had to wait 10 hours for my cab to show up before.

Oh that is ridiculous. I hope you get another cab service in town soon. If the bus service is that bad, you probably do need a car.

Yes, I have been in that situation. In the Dallas area, they make all their moneymaking runs to the airport and everyone in between has to wait.

I used to take cabs before I was old enough to drive so I could get around - it happened a lot and sometimes they never showed up...scary for anyone, let alone a 15 year old to be stuck at the mall (or anywhere else) after hours!!!

Hope your small town ambulance responds quicker than your cab service!!!!!

geesh! Thats way too long to have to wait!! Call a friend and offer them a couple bucks instead. If ya lived in my town, I'd take ya!!

That's how it is here in Dayton, Ohio! You would be better off catching the bus verses calling a cab here! They usually be at the airport or the Greyhound station!

Yes, that is ridiculous to wait that long. I see try to save for a car because it is helpful in that situation.

It is probably quicker to just walk to Wal-mart than it is to get a cab! That's what I would do, or get a bike

Ridiculous to wait that long to go anywhere. I'd ask the neighbor if they could. Couldn't hurt.
