Anybody know where one can buy a copy of a national daily for a specific day (for example 1 January 2000)?
I know I can find it in libraries, but I want to buy one as a gift (it was a special day)

I would go to the library, or maybe you could call the paper and see if they have copies on record that you could buy.

Yeah. The offices of the paper that you want. They'll have file copies.

most states have historic offices and archive offices. check with the one you live in to get this info
