when im driving for about 10 mins both my battery light and the break light come on at exactly the same time and they go off at the same time and it is a new battery and a new alternator and help before i put a 2000 dollar stereo into it. i have a 96 infiniti g20

for some strange reason this happens anytime there's an intermittent problem with the charging system on those cars,since is not a permanent problem its really hard to find also,what i usually do is drive them,and get then to do it then scan the computer,this will tell you if it was a lack of voltage at the time or just an intermittent problem,just guessing on this one id say it was a temporary lack of voltage and that could be caused by an over draw from the battery,the alternator could also have caused this to happen,you may be pulling too much power from the battery,have the out put of the alternator checked,that may be a bad alternator on it or it might not be grounding good,hope you find it.

what brake light. are we talking about the parking brake or what. Sounds like whoever put your battery and alt. on didn't do something correctly.

may be loose indicator wire ( fake signal )
