Banning people from wearing certain articles of clothing like saggy pants and short shorts or skirts. Not to mention freedom of speech is going right out the window.

Regardless of Respect who is anyone to decide what someone else wears on their body. If you do not like it do not look. Not discussing formal situations I am talking about everyday living.

They are considering giving people fines for wearing baggy pants. Like making it a law. This is why I bring it up.

No one stops you from wearing what you want (within reason) in public. If you are talking about school, a reasonable dress code is appropriate.

Whatever happened to the idea of respect and decorum in this country. Your freedom shouldn't infringe on my freedom from not having to see you butt sticking out because you think it's attractive. Get it?! No, I didn't think you would. That's why you don't understand what freedom in this country is. You are NOT, nor have you ever been, free to do and say whatever you wanted to. THAT is anarchy. Now pull your pants up and your shorts down.

Being free to assault me with unsightly amounts of fat rolls or skeleton ribs should be banned. The sight of most people's skin is fine with me, but to those who attempt to destroy my free spirit to look at beauty with their displays of self-destruction should be at least given a ticket.
However I have heard that San Fransisco is gonna outlaw smoking cigarettes in apartments and condos. And Washington state passed a law recently stating that I couldn't have any of my kids younger than 13 sitting in the front seat with me in the car. They gotta be in back. Now if that isn't a government teaching the next generation to be conformist, I don't know what is. 'Your parents listened to us when you were a kid telling them what's best for you so Big Brother's judgement must be best.'
