I hate Wal-mart, but I have never stolen from there, or anywhere for that matter. I'm just wondering though, cause I have a friend who shoplifts and does that from Wal-Mart all the time and I'm wondering how common it is.
So have you ever shoplifted from Wal Mart? (or any other store)
How old were you when you did it, what did you steal, did you get caught?

But when I was about 8, I stole an ice-cake.
Didn't get caught. But was too chicken to do it again.

I did it a couple of times when I was younger (around 13 or 14), not out of necessity, but because I knew I could get away with it; and no, I didn't get caught. I think the first time it was some nail polish and makeup, some stupid sh!t.
**And good grief, no one asked for a moratorium on the wrongs of shoplifting! The asker just wanted to know if anyone else had ever done it! Just say "No" and leave it at that! Damn!**

no not from wal mart but i did steal a very tiny pair of scissors one time from the fabric store when i was little. my mom found them a week or so later and made me go and give them back to the manager of the store. because of that i have never stolen anything again.

I stole some lipstick from a store like Walmart when I was about 13. A friend was with me and dared me to do it. It was the first and last time I ever stole anything. She took one too, and yes, we got caught by the store's security guy. It was awful, of course they called our parents and I was grounded for the entire summer.

No. I only go to Wal-Mart about once every six months and that's usually just for snack food. I don't steal.

yes i steel from wal mart all the time... okay you know how they have like 50 million cameras? well who the hell is watching all of them? NO ONE. just watch out for all the people who work there. i stole some make up some robo pills, shorts,thongs and some DVDS i was 14,15,16. nope never got cought

NO that is just totally wrong. People work very hard to earn a living and make ends meet. When people steal it is a very selfish act that impacts on others. Business especially ones like WalMart know they will be targeted by shoplifters and they cover themselves by a loading on their prices. Honest people PAY MORE because of people like your friend. I have 3 suggestions,
1) Tell your friend to get a job, buy what she/he needs and stop making it hard for others.
2) Get her/him some professional help, maybe she/he has some underlying mental issues.
3) If she/he says no to 1 & 2 then get a NEW friend, you dont need to hangout with a theif like her/him.

you wanna be careful here you hear ?Security personal have absolutely no sense of Humor . First they put you through the meatgrinder in a back room, than they call the cops who in turn call your parents if you are under age.

no, i haven't stolen anything from walmart. when i was a child (7?), i stole a plastic key from michael's craft store. don't ask me why. i didn't get caught. that's about the only time that i have shoplifted.
