I was bummed out because with every win the Yankees get, the harder it will be for my team to get the wild card. (Tigers)

I was also bummed because the guy I was playing in last weeks fantasy baseball league had Jeter, Cano and Riviera. I finished out the week with a win though :)

But to answer your question directly, Any game between the yanks and the Sox is a good game. Two premier teams playing as hard as they can. It doesnt get much more intense than that. If anybody wants to argue me on this, go watch the Marlins play the Devil Rays. Red Sox vs Yanks is what makes baseball the best sport in America.

Damn, it was great. Roger pitched a great game and so did Schilling until that incredible at bat and Jeter's homer.

Joba gives up his first run EVER but still gets the win.

Rivera gets the save but only after giving up another run, loading the bases.

And then it comes down to the best walk-off hitter in baseball history vs the best closer in history, bases loaded two outs.

What else could have happened but Capt Derek Jeter catches the final out!

Noooooooo. I stayed up until 11:30 to watch my sox lose......francona should have taken Shilling out, I just knew Jeter would hit a homer. Too many young arms in the pen to have left him in. big papi, I knew he would whiff. given Mariano is so good with lefties, I would have pinch hit for papi. He swung at that high pitch. Mariano knew big papi couldn't resist. I'm tired and just another manic monday...well at least the cheaters...mmmm Pats won without a video camera. congrats to the Yankees!!!

Great games, it could have only been better with a close game on Saturday.

What scares me is there was no Manny in the game. The Sox will be tougher with him back in the line up.

Right up to the last pitch..........GREAT game.......Those 2 teams always play the best baseball against each other.......I'm so glad they took 2 out of the 3.........We're only 4 1/2 behind in the division and it's going to be difficult to overcome that but I don't doubt we'll make it into the playoffs and it's time for Yankee pinstripes to win the World Series...........CAT
