I downloaded the shrek wallpaper and it wont let me remove it please help!?

I downloaded the shrek 2 m and ms wallpaper over 6 months ago and it wont let remove it or change it can someone please help me? Its annoying.

I downloaded this shrek desktop wallpaper not screensaver. It wont let me change it to anyhing else. It is a shrek 2 m and ms wallpaper. I have run adaware and I have run spyware. I have mcafee and have done scans but I don't have any virusses. I try to change it to another wallpaper and it will still stay the same.

Where all have you looked on your computer to remove it? If you have your desktop up...(the main screen that has all your main icons on it), click on either your right mouse button or touchpad, depending on wether you have a desktop or notebook and select "properties" then click the "screen saver" tab and then locate the rectangle with the "down arrow" next to it. after you've done that, select a different screen saver from the list that appears. If that doesn't work, then click the "start" button in your lower left hand corner and then select "search" or "find file". It depends on what version of windows you have, in relation to what search application is available to you. After clicking either "search" or "find file", then select "all files and folders" and then type in either the name of the screen saver or the word "shrek" and then on the search button and see what shows up. If it appears, then click on the file and see if it can be deleted by pressing the delete key on the keyboard. Hope this helps you. :) Plz feel free to contact me with the results.

point to start click control panel then click add remove programs when it loads find the shrek proggie and click on it, then select remove. then use ad aware and all the scanners to be sure it didnt leave any trash behind

What you have is either a virus or a trojan.

To remove it use AdAwareSE, and AVGfree.
