It is about the fast paced change of life. "Just like that, your six years old and you take a nap, wake up and your 25..." They are not lying! It seems like just yesterday.

I take it as life is such a quick journey.
Can you imagine not ever being here?
But, it is so hard, for me anyway, to think that i have been here 25 years. It doesn't seem like that long.
When he says it goes by faster than you think,he means don't forget one day you will be old, and it is not going to seem like it took long to there, and don't blink, because you might miss something in this short amount of time that we have here on this earth.

The message of "Don't Blink" is to try to make the time to enjoy life because if you don't make an effort, life will just slip by in a blink of an eye.
