To clarify the question a little,. Im not talking about,.gravity fields,.electromagnetic radiation, or Background Radiation, .as all these Forces and fields are dependant upon a medium to propagate, I am instead referring to the Medium itself "Space",.of course there are some who would say that Space for example cannot exist without gravity, and the other forces,.ive mentioned,.in my opinion that is not true,

How is something that is in essence nothing be expanding, yet that is what is being observed. If galaxies are moving away from us due to the expansion of space, then something must be providing the extra space. I recently grasped that the matter is not being propelled into space that already exists, but that space is itself is growing. So what is the source of this "space". Even though it is not matter with mass, it has properties which change according to observation. I wish I knew the math though I am not sure that this explains the observation. I would like to see others respond to this that have a grasp on the physics.

Space is the essence of the universe all it needs is time to exist.
Space is a quantum entity so it must have a maximum and a minimum size.
None of the forces are needed for space to exist.
All the things we see and experience derived from the quantum effect which allowed the universe to produce hydrogen and everything else we see and experience in the universe.
Space is a finite entity that started some time in the past and some time in the future will go out of existence.

Well it is my opinion that space,
time & gravity are inextricably linked.
So we differ.
