If someone invaded america and took your kids away to be interrogated - and they never came back...or drove a tank through your front room....(and you never up untill that point gave a crap about these invaders) how would you feel?
I think the jealousy thing is the other way around by the way...Americans are jealous of their oil reserves.

We are "terrorist" to them... they don't hate our lifestyle like right-wingers hate gays, the fundamentalist terrorists want everyone to follow the rules their big supernatural guy gave them, instead of the rules our big supernatural guy gave us. The thing is that some of us dont have a big supernatural guy and that is really what has made the west, the far east, and maybe turkey successful. While many believe in the large supernatural guy, the system is not based on him. I think the islamists confuse secular society with a christian society. In reality, both sets of fundamentalists get along great. Right now the islamic extremists in Turkey are using the christian fundamentalist creation science literature from the US to send their science achievement back to the age of the crusades.

Look at it this way the earth can substain for 50 years with the 4 billion too many people on it now so think why is it people kill in wars in this day and knowledge that war does nothing for the good just for the evil on earth!

OBL has stated that he decided on his jihad against the U.S. when the coalition was based on Saudi soil during the first Gulf War. Saudi Arabia is holy ground to him and he did not want war waged by "infidels" from there. He even went to the king of Saudi Arabia and asked that he be able to take out Saddam himself, but he was refused. But, who knew what this would lead to or even that we had offended him while fighting a justified war?

They say we are "infidels" because we don't believe
in their Muslim religion and worship their God. Therefore,
they believe we should all die, and they have self-appointed
themselves to do the job. They are also jealous they don't
have freedoms and leisurely lifestyles as we in America do.

It's not really because they hate our freedoms, it's that they hate everyhting about us. The way we dress, the God we worship, the women we marry, everything. They see us as a threat to their dominance over the ME and making a Muslim caliphate across the globe.

they hate our freedom, they hate our religion, they hate our society, they hate democracy, they hate everything about us. Yes they want to kill us, along with the Europeans and Israel, and wipe us off the face of the earth. They will go to any length to kill us and destroy our way of life. That is why we must kill them first. There is nothing we can do to get along with them peacefully. Appeasement only causes more bloodshed.

Look at the Aid workers and the journalist they beheaded for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. They hadn't taken up arms against them they killed them just becuase.
