Um, Sweetiwe? I hate to burst your little bubble but I'm left handed and the only thing that has ever made me different is I have issues with scissors. If that qualifies me as a handicap then give me that parking decal! When I took the ACT they had all the left handed people sit in the front of the classroom because it was the "rule". That made me feel a bit handicapped for no reason. Seriously. Your professor needs to get over it. We may do things differently than alot of right handed people but we sure as hell aren't handicapped.

As far as a handicapped license plate the only thing that counts is inability to walk 200 feet from your car.
Unless the professor walks on his hands that is not going to qualify him as handicapped. I know a lot of left handed people and there is very little they can not do.

Completely disagree! Left-handed is NOT handicapped. Some of my friends are left-handed and they are doing just fine. I think your professor suffers from a certain bone illness or else.

Are you kidding me? I'm forty-five and left handed. That's the most ridicules thing I've ever heard!! I've made my way in this world just fine thank you. Most of the left handed people I know feel the same way that I do. Accommodations have been made over the years for left handed people. I own a left handed thread sewing machine. I do, however, cut with regular scissors. It's all about what you can do if you put your mind to it!

I alway thought left handed people were suppost to be smarter. guess your professor missed out because they are not handicaped at all. leftys just do things a lil bit diffrent than right handed people which makes somethings harder for them becasue the world is primarily right handed. nowadays they are making alot of things that are just for lft handed people like they didn't used to in the past. left handed people make great pitchers!

While the AR-15 can be purchased left or right handed, the M-16, M-4 etc. are only "right-handed" in that they were designed for right-handed shooters, which is the majority. I personally shoot left handed without problem because it's what you are used to. It's like right-handed scissors or can openers. As a leftie, you deal with it.

They should certainly not be given a handicapped license! As long as you can do all the essential, general things with your left hand, that's fine. However, it depends on how important the things he can't do are.

I'm gonna cast a no vote. Maybe its just your Prof because people who are left handed can function quite well in a right-handed world. As a left-handed person, I can't think of anything that I can't do. There's some things that are just annoying but you just deal with it.

I am LEFT handed and do fine,i resent your comments as utter b*****ks and if any one needs a handicapped licence,it`s you for being brainless.I suppose if it was left to you,we would all be in concentration camps and gassed. You remind me of some thing that occasionally gets stuck to my shoe.By the way, learn to spell.
