In IT security nothings a 100% safe.

Your cellphone will probably be safe assuming it has not been compromised in any way due to virues, trojans, keyloggers, or etc...

There have been few virues released that take advantage of the technically flaws of certain model cell phones.

The internet is a network where everyone can see each other so remember that when sending data.

Make sure the data is encrypted over the wire when sent and make sure the source and destination are not compromised by 0day exploits or viruses. Also make sure the soure isn't some kind of phishing scam trying to pose as your banks web site in order to get your information.

I personally never do banking online....

It is as safe as using a wirelessly connected computer as long as you are using a secure socket layer, depicted by a "s" at the end of http---"https". You should also see a lock icon at the lower portion of your screen, or in the address bar. As long as you use a secure longin as decribed above, and each page you view is also secured, it should be fine. If it does not have this security, don't give any information, not a user name, password or any private and personal information. It is also a great idea to not click onto your bank via a link in any email, as sites are forged all the time now. No bank uses email to get in touch with clients or ask for private information.

Good luck and have an nice evening
