If it is a pool of grease in the driveway, first absorb it with kitty litter, then sweep up the oily kitty litter and dispose it wrapped in newspaper in garbage can. That leaves an oily stain on pavement.

Methods I've used:

1. Carefully pour degreaser full strength only on the driveway stain. Don't use any more than necessary, only enough to cover the dark oil stain. Careful -- don't splatter any of the degreaser on your clothing. Let it sit on spot for a few hours. Then hose the spot down. You can do the process one more time.

2. Liberally sprinkle powdered detergent over stain. Pour hot water over it. Scrub stain with a stiff straw broom. Hose off soap. Repeat a second time. .

But after second treatment (whichever method chosen), let it go. In time with normal weathering, the stain will fade away.

Use a concrete degreaser formulation. You can find this at Home Depot, Lowes, or whatever local Home Improvement store you choose. It works well. If the stains are extra heavy or have been on the concrete driveway for quite a while, repeat applications may be necessary.
Once the driveway is cleaned with the degreaser to your satisfaction, put down a driveway shield, or spread a layer of cat litter on the driveway. Future spills or leaks can be quickly swept up and disposed of.

I sincerely hope this helps you.

There are petroleum based cleaners that are made for exactly that. They are like the equivalent of a strong detergent sold under the label of Driveway Cleaners. You pour them on, let them soak in , and then hose them and the stain off.

Try:
Boiling water
Bleach
degreaser
baking soda mixed with vinegar - if the spot isn't too big, scrub it with a toothbrush, and let it set for a few hours.
If all else fails, you can clean it with a pressure washer, but it must really be a good one, and you need to be careful. A good pressure washer will mess up concrete.

Sprinkle kitty liter on the greasy spot then with your foot work it into the stain with a twisting motion the liter will absorb the grease.
