Well honey, I get hooked on a song by good beats and beautiful lyrics that either has meanings to it or touches our hearts though.

Damn! I sing some of the stupidest songs because the stupid beat got stuck in my head! So, the beat. But HUGE appreciation for lyrics.

Neither.
The first thing that catches me is the melody. If I like the melody, I move on to vocals. If the vocals sound cool, then I'll probably like the song. If the vocals don't sound cool, then it's time to move on.
The beat and lyrics will impact how much I enjoy a song that catches my attention, but they will not be the elements that initially draw me to a song.
