The polls should include at least the top two teams from all divsions.

no, that win was a fluke. It would cost a D-I school a spot in the rankings.

And Oregon is not div 2, believe it or not the Pac 10 is considered D-I. I agree that's a joke but hey, what can you do?

As was said it was Division 1AA team, and if you looked at the other receiving votes you would notice that Appy State DOES get a few votes, now that the AP has changed the rules and allows them too. Yeah that was a direct result of the win over Michigan like that. Anyway Division 1AA and Division 2 both have their own polls.

It was a I-AA team, not a Division II team.

And sorry, but there's a reason why the divisions are separated. Mount Union is good, but there's no way that they're one of the best 25 teams in the country.

No reason to combine the polls unless D 1-AA teams can also play in the bowls.

when did we lose to a d-2 team we lost to a I-AA team.

If we did that stupid stuff you jst suggested no d2 team would ever make it. I-AA teams can now but no d2
