What comes to mind when I say the word "Tragedy"?

I think that it has to be happening to someone else. Usually when people use the word tragedy in conversation they are referring to someone else's affairs. Very rarely do people like to admit openly that they have incurred some sort of tragic circumstance. I think that this is an affect that people have that they always want to show others how well off they are when in reality they are hurting to some capacity. It is a shame because there are alot of people who are just waiting to help others if only the others would be real instead of faking it. It is human to have flaws and tragic events happen . It is an unfortunate part of reality but also challenges our capacities to both live our lives in full and allow others to reach out to us.

Ultimately, one of the greatest tragedies is a person who has seen somuch pain and suffering, both of themselves and others, that they can no longer feel anything themselves, even love and happiness.

I think of the loss of what might have been. I think of the world that could be, but isn't because there are too many fools. I think of young lives lost, murdered children. I think of war; what a colossal waste.
