Oakland without a doubt, Cleveland's not too far behind but they got talent & a slight future. Atlanta has no chance without Vick, but i also gotta add the Giants to this list they suck.

I don't think you can say Oakland (they've played 2 very good games this year and actually beat Denver today, but lost because of a loophole in the rules allowing cheap timeouts to be called after field goals are made; I thought they fixed that rule last offseason, but apparently, they haven't). You can't say Cleveland (they scored 51 points against Cincinnati, even though it is definitely a fluke). You can't say that Cincy has the worst defense (they are merely inconsistent and can be either great, as they were in Week 1, or awful, as they were today). You can't say Detroit (they are 2-0). You also can't list Buffalo as the worst team (they almost beat Denver in their opener and a team can be excused for being blown out by Pittsburgh). You also can't list the Texans, who are shaping up to be this year's biggest surprise (how ironic is it that the Mario Williams haters are being proven wrong now that he has more TDs than Reggie Bush and is fast becoming a superstar). Nor can you list Tennessee or the Jets (both played very well today).
I think a case could be made for the Dolphins and Jaguars (though they are merely the worst teams in the AFC, which means they are still better than a bunch of NFC teams). Pretty solid cases for being the worst team belong to Philly (McNabb appears to be making the same mistake as Culpepper, which is going to destroy that team) and the Giants (however, they have played very well on offense and are just awful enough defensively to make Brett Favre look like the NFL MVP again). However, the worst team in the NFL is clearly an NFC South team. Carolina is clearly the class of this division, despite blowing a 14-0 lead to Houston and should make the playoffs, though likely at 10-6 or worse. Tampa Bay isn't the worst team in the division, as they beat New Orleans soundly today. New Orleans' offense has fallen apart and their defense is awful, but the worst team in the NFL title still belongs to the team whose starting QB is in jail for dogfighting. Atlanta is on their way to a season in which they will be lucky to win 3 games.
I thought the NFC North division was the worst division in football going into the season (and what evidence was there to the contrary, as the Lions appeared to be a total joke, the Vikings have no QB, the Bears QB is a ticking time bomb, and the Packers have little talent except an aging QB known for being too aggressive). However, the NFC North has actually been the 3rd worst division in the NFC, behind the NFC East (the Cowboys are going to walk all over that one) and the NFC South (there isn't a very good team in that division). The NFC West is clearly the class of the NFC (they've had 3 division games so far, all of which were extremely well-played and competitive and the worst team in the division tore up the 2nd best team in the South), but it is clearly far behind any AFC division (I expect Baltimore and Pittsburgh to sweep the West, Cincy can do so if its defense shows up and Cleveland will probably steal a few games).

Everyone is saying the Raiders and Browns but at least they've played close (Raiders) and won a game (Browns). The worst team so far this year has been the Chiefs and Falcons. For the Chiefs, this has been coming for years. Year after year they've failed to address an aging offense and they're finally paying for it. LJ is their only playmaker and neither Croyle or Huard are the answers. They should have traded LJ for draft picks because this team is going to be in rebuilding mode. For the Falcons, the team was built around Vick and when your foundation is gone, so goes the rest.

Da Raiders win the quadruple crown. Worst NFL team. Worst NFL fans (a mix of cholos, felons, and ghetto kids). Worst NFL city. Worst NFL owner.
Nuff said.

hmmmmmm.....right now, I would have to go with either Oakland or Buffalo.....though New Orleans wins the runner up.
Worst defense goes to my Bengals.......How do you score 45 points and lose?!?!?!
(yeah...I could accept arguments for the Giants, Chiefs or Falcons right now.....but Detroit.....hard to call a team with a 2-0 record losers.....)
*Brad...your D is good....but we are referring to the teamas a whole...and Unlike Baltimore or Chicago...your D is not good enough to win games for you. Sorry. Maybe if they put Pepp in you guys will get over the hump......so close today.
