I work for a company making softwares which they sell. How much should I expect from royalty? What is considered "normal"? What's the minimum where I just have to say no? If i made the software myself or with a group of other programmers will the total %age for the group be the same?

The contract say that the royalty will be considered and discussed per project/product basis. I don't want to seem "easy", yet I don't want to look like "expensive".

Check your employment contract, you don't demand you take whatever they pay you, normally they just pay you a salary and expect your work to belong to them.

Well, if you work for a company, you are very unlikely to get anything. You probably signed an agreement stating that any inovations or inventions created by you are property of the company.

Normally the company would own anything you developed while in their employ, so you can't expect anything although if they want to be generous, they might give you a bonus or something.
