Why do some women stand funny? By this I mean:
- One foot faces forward
- The other faces perpendicular to it (left faces left, or right faces right)
This makes no sense to me, and does not seem comfortable either.

that is kinda comfortable.

I think women usually do this when we're wearing heels. It allows us to put all our weight on the foot facing forward and take it off the foot facing perpendicular. It helps when your feet are aching.
Also, it's more natural for women b/c we are more limber and our hip sockets turn outward more naturally.

Some girls do it to make their hip pop out, but others just do, it's actually more comfortable because it feels like you're leaning on something even though you're not, try it, really it's comfortable, especially if you're standing for a long time it helps a lot

I stand like that too. It's actually really comfortable. But if I think about it, I guess it helps me balance too.
Men have the luxury of standing with their feet apart. Women must keep their knees together.
I dare you guys to try it - go ahead! If you have to keep your legs together, turning one foot out actually is more comfortable.

You are right! I stand like that sometimes.....actually it is comfortable. And I've seen some guys do it too. It's more of a feminine thing though I think.

i dont understand what you really mean. well according to what i understand, i guess not every women stand funny and that would also depends on the person. maybe for you but ist not for the others

For some of us, it is. I know that I stand that way sometimes! Also, when I'm bored I like to try standing with my feet parallel,pointed outwards.

The fact that there bodies are built different probably has everything to do with it.
