I was at a game at Wrigley Field in June where a man ran out on the field, stopped in front of pitcher Bob Howry, and started to yell at him (Howry had just given up a homer to put the Rockies ahead in the 9th inning). About five seconds later a security guard tackled him and they hauled the fan off the field. Apparently the Cubs are seeking felony trespassing charges under a new Illinois state law that was passed after that guy beat up Royals coach Tom Gamboa at U.S. Cellular Field.

Beised from getting your *** kicked by angry security & spending night in a dirty cell within the stadium until the local blue come to get u then the remainder of the night in jail. U will get a $500-$2000 fine &/or probabtion unless u have quite a record then u may spend some time behind bars.

He'll probably get a night in prison and then walk.

Usually the penalty for running onto the field is getting annihilated by a professional athlete. But I don't think that happened here.

Disorderly conduct and a couple of hours at the station. I don't think they put people in jail for that unless they have a warrant or something.

Arrest, a night in the pokey and a fine is the punishment in LA.
