No but they can be carried by a swallow or possible two swallows working together. It depends on whether you are talking African swallows or European swallows...

Clearly you've never heard of the coconut migration ritual. They do the macarena as a mating dance. After mating, they migrate to Germany for Oktoberfest before returning home for Cinco De Mayo.

Actually they float and can travel long distance on ocean currents while still remaining viable when they hit land - which is why so many isolated tropical islands have coconuts growing on them.
Is that migration in your book or would they have to make a return trip to be said to have migrated?

Yes. They fall into the ocean and go where the currents take them. That is one of the reason why there are so many palm trees in the Pacific. But can't figure out how they go to Las Vegas which is in the desert. Isn't nature a wonderful thing.,

Not really, especially if the coconuts get into the water and drift to other Islands and wash up on their shores. But other then that, it not likely the coconut is going to "come fly away,
Thanks

I'd say The Famous African Swallows! They grab them by the husks.

I've never actually SEEN a coconut migrate, but they end up in my grocer's produce isle.. They've got to get there somehow.

They have been known to float hundreds of miles when they roll into the ocean.
This is not technically a "migration."

YES! They fall into the ocean & wash up on another island.
This is well established in the Pacific Ocean.
