My teacher gave us a map of the southern counties of Mississippi and told us that there's going to be a test on Monday. Well, I've been studying, but I can't seem to remember the thirty-odd that she gave us! Can you help me out, pretty please?

If you need only memorize the names, this can be done using mnemonics. Many proffesions use this method of memorizing. For instance, the resistor color code sequence:
Black, Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Grey, White, can be memorized easily with the following mnemonic: Bad Boys Rape Our Young Girls, But Violet Gives Willingly.. Hope this helps.
If you have to memorize WHERE the locations are on the map this becomes more difficult!

Ok, I think there is 82 counties in MS, I don't remember. Do you have to name the counties? Either do them in alphabetical order or start with the bottom counties.
-----------------------------------------------------
West to East:
Bottom row:Hancock, Harrison, Jackson
Next row: Pearl, Stone, George
Next row: Wilkinson, Amite, Pike, Wathall, Marion, Lamar, Forrest, Perry, Greene.
$th row: Adams, Franklin, Lincoln, Lawrence, Jefferson Davis, Covington, Jones & Wayne
5th row: Jefferson, Copiah, Simpson, Smith, Jasper, Clarke.
6th row: Warren, Hinds, Rankin, Scott, Newton & Lauderdale.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

I'd either draw it out OR make a copy and then make a puzzle out of it by cutting up the copy
