Maybe your mall is different, but a mall I go to is like this:
Some stores have mainly whites, and others seem to have mainly blacks that go in them.
For instance, Hollister-whites
and there's this store called Downtown locker room which mainly blacks go in. They always play hip hop music every time I go by.
I dont know what kind of music Hollister plays but I know its not hip hop! lol
Is your mall like this? Personally I'll go into any store if I see something I think is cute for me!

I shop in stores I like. It don't matter what music is playing. In malls mostly I hear pop music playing, very rarely I hear hiphop unless I am in a shoe store. There is no Hollister-whites where I live but there is American Eagle and Abercrombie & Finch. I don't shop in stores that are expensive unless it's a handbag or shoe. Otherwise I wouldn't go in there to buy 100 dollar jeans or even preppy gear. Preppy gear shouldn't be that expensive anyway. I do understand what the girl was talking about being followed around by salespeople. I hate that also. It was in a place called "Dillard's."

I shop at any mall where I can afford to shop, but I live in the suburbs so I shop there most of the time. Here in Minnesota, we have the great Mall Of America where pretty much every ethnicity shops at and you even get to see tons of interracial couples. Im one of those people who WILL NOT let superficial things such as race/skincolour get in the way of getting something I WANT.

Yes. PG Plaza Mall is like this. But...so what? Is there a problem with this? There aren't locks on the stores entrances so ANYONE can go in them. But, Hollister sucks anyway. I went in there one time to look for a sweater and the idiots tried to act all suspicious and follow me around like I was blind or something.

Downtown Locker Room caters to the urbanites. If it's you, do you.

Supreme Knowledge-get over yourself ok? blacks dont "follow" white people. however they will go to whatever mall they please and whites cant do anything about it hahaha!

Well in my mall things are a little segregated but its because some stores are just cater to black/urban needs, wants and interests while stores such as Hollisters does little to attract them. Its plain and simple.
