When you're not crying, sit and think what makes you cry: do you feel sorry for yourself that you're lonely? Do you feel unneeded by anyone here? In this case, find as many friends here as you can, and keep yourself around people who like you and who you like too. You won't be so lonely. Find yourself challenging tasks, something you couldn't do at home. It will giveyour mind more "reason" why are you here.

It will get better with time. 2 years was actually the hardest time for me.

Identify the things that make you cry, like you know, some things you look at and suddenly you're crying. Especially things that remind you of home. Some things make me feel better, some are worse. A teapot from home makes me feel better, but a picture of my city makes me cry every time I look at it. So I don't keep pictures of my city anywhere where I can see them.

I feel very sorry for your homesickness, but you must get through it somehow by looking at something that reminds you of home. When I moved across the street, I thought I would stay at the same school, but I was just on the boundaries 0.0 Every one of my friends were there. I took photos on the last day at my old school when I cleaned out my locker. I look at them when I get bored or start to miss them. Maybe you can do that, or call them so frequently to tell them you <3 them. Hopefully that will help you.

i understand your situation, because i'm in the same situation. maybe i'm a melancholy old git, but i like missing home. i don't think it's a bad thing - you'll always have feelings for it so why betray them? there's a time to be sad, there's a time to miss home. it will never go away completely, but i don't think you should want it to.

If it means that much to you then you could consider going back there.A lot of women have a hard time adapting to another culture. Men are more resilient in that aspect.
