if it was really good friend and i really didn't need the money, i would let it go. but if i needed the bucks i would comment that things where kinda tight this month and i could really use the money that i loaned to you to help pay a bill that i need to pay asap. by the way, a really true friend would always pay you back... always.

lo, if your asking others this question, I will have to assume this money has been owed for awhile. Usually when people ask others how to accomplish a task, !. they are too shy, 2. feel a confrontation could evolve, 3.could jeopardize a relationship. If any,or all apply, you have been hesitating, and the longer you wait, the more distant the memory. I would approach it like this, " I know you probably can not afford to pay all the money you owe me, so I have devised a repayment plan of__ a week". Bring this up in a conversation , when your alone. Unless you need all the money right now, this should be comfortable for you to mention. Put in the amount you think she can afford, and agree to meet her on payday. Even this way may be hard for you to do, but try, your friend just might of forgot, and it seems like your the type that has not been reminding her. Hopes this helps, Good Luck!

From my experience, if he is the type of person that will pay you back, he would pay you back before you even ask, or give you an exact date to pay back. Since you have to ask, he probably wouldn't pay you back. Anyway, if it is a small amount, forget it. Learn your lesson, you should go on with your life. He doesn't worth to be a friend. Never be friend with people who always have financial problems. He is not responsible even to himself.

Simply say, "I'm a little short of cash right now and have bills to pay, do you think you could spare a little of what I loaned you? I'd really appreciate it if you could."

Hi. Remember that money I loaned you that you promised you'd pay me back? Well, I need it.

A really good friend should simply be asked politely and directly. Remember: You're the "good guy" here!!!!!!!!!!!
You're doing nothing wrong. Besides... they're a friend. There should be nothing to "fear".

Just be straight forward with them and tell them you need your money back.

Remind them that they borrowed the money and ask them if they intend to repay it soon.
