On the old movie Backdraft with Kurt Russell, did anyone notice...?

Did you notice the last scene where they show the firetrucks leaving the station, an orange tabby cat is run over and killed by the trucks? I watched the movie again recently and saw this.

I never saw that. I think I would have noticed though. Are you sure about that?
