Why don't players in other sports use it ?

Black absorbs light, so it stops the light from reflecting off of the cheekbone and blinding you.

I have seen baseball and some soccer players use it as well, because the light likes dark colors it will soak into the dark spots and not hit the eyes

It stops sunlight and floodlight glare from reflecting off their cheeks. Baseball players use it too.

yes,and players in other sports do wear it.Mainly in baseball.It not only deflects sun,but lights as well.

it shades there eyes and the sun goes to the paint instead of the eyes because the heat goes to dark er colors
