I say more power to him.
If you want to get mad at somebody get mad at the cops for breaking the law and not doing their job, get mad at the D.A. for not proving their case.
Seriously, what was the guy supposed to do say here come get me I did it take me to jail, come people.
What do you think?

Well I would have done the same exact thing in either senario.
a) if I almost got life for something I did'nt do I would have done more than just write a book If I Did It.
b) if I did do it and got off and then lost a lawsuit I would write the book to gain money lost

It is anger at what is percieved to be a bad decision. It is, as you say, not very useful to be angry at O.J. for his being aquitted. There were a lot of mistakes by the police and the attorneys that prosecuted the case.

Most people are not directly mad at OJ, but at the justice system. The fact that this man terrorized his ex-wife for years and then slaughtered her without consequences is beyond frustrating. Would an infividual without his position and past fortune be able to do the same? If he was not a hall of famer, would there have been so many fans outside the courtroom cheering him on when they probably knew little or nothing about the case?
However, that being said, some of the anger may directed at him due to his arrogance after being acquitted. Keep in mind, he brutally killed two people, not a crime or act to take so mildly as a trivial matter.

I'm not mad at O.J. for getting off. I am upset with the system. There was, by many accounts, more evidence against O.J. than there was against Charles Manson. And, we all know that O.J. did it.
It was an "aha" moment, when O.J. was found not guilty and African Americans applauded. It reminding us all of the rift between the races. Does anyone actually believe that O.J. was targeted because of his race? I don't!

Because he is guilty. The law is an *** - some famous person said. The system is about law - instead of justice. What a crock ! America has so abused the British system, from which it was derived, as to make it a mock-up.

I think that the people who are mad at him are mad because they believe that he is a murderer... and they are angry in general because they feel like the system failed them. I'm not really mad about it at all... its none of my business. I wasn't there so I can't claim to know what must have happened.

Something about writing a book entitled "If I did it" that antagonizes people. Getting off as a mass killer and then rubbing everyone noses in it certainly doesn't bring joy to many people.

i think people are "mad" at OJ because he killed two people and continues to rub it their families faces by writing books and pulling ridiculous stunts such as stealing his stuff back.
