Speeding is good.
People who do the speed limit are more dangerous, the reason why is the flow of traffic.

If the speed limit is 45mph, and the flow of traffic is over 50mph, the person doing 45mph is more of a risk than the people doing 50mph.

If every one sped, no one would get a ticket. Speeding tickets are more about raising revenue than administration of justice or safety.

Lets say you are on the interstate and the speed limit is 70mph. Lets say you are in the passing lane doing 70mph, who is more of the risk, people moving at the flow of traffic which is approx 80mph or the idiot in the fast lane doing 70mph.

It's a speed limit VS flow of traffic issue.
I always side on the flow of traffic.

This question would be better answered by the coroner and the mortician in your area.I'm sure they would verify there is no good reason to speed.Even emergency vehicles must follow rules to get to the location in a quick but safe manner.I guess speed would be good if you were in a race.

To get to your final destination quickly in an emergency. Another reason is if you are on a closed race track and you are practicing high speed driving techniques.

In elementary school if i ran down the hall the teacher told me "go back and try it again, walk this time." Now all I have to do is drive 90 miles an hour whereever I go, and when I get to my destination I can walk down the halls and take my time.
