The fifth root of 27.

8x^(5/3) - 24 = 0

8x^(5/3) = 24

x^(5/3) = 3

x^(5/3) is the same as "the cube root of x to the 5th"

So, 3 is the cube root of x to the 5th

3 is actually the cube root of 27.

So 27 is x to the 5th power. That is the same as saying the fifth root of 27.
