I'm 15 and I do not understand the whole resume deal...Is it some paper in your record since birth? People talk about it for jobs...Am I supposed to fill out a resume or something? I'm confused. I'm not getting a job (too young and don't wanna!), but I wonder what a resume is...

no, a resume is not a secret paper that is kept somewhere since birth. A resume is a paper that YOU write when you apply for a job in which you write down what you have done so far like from when to when you went to which school, prior work experience and other qualities that are important for that job

well...you actually don't "fill out" a resume, you fill out an APPLICATION when you're applying for a job. An application is a paper that is given to you by the employer to fill out, and a resume is something YOU make, and give to the employer. No, a resume is not kept for you since you're born. You make it yourself when you're ready to apply for a job. A resume is a list of a person's education, previous jobs, and special skills

Resume is a record of all of the places you have worked and where you went to school. It tells employers what your abilities and experiences are so they can decide if you are right for the job that you are applying for.

A resume is a concise list of your educational and work experience. Also called a C.V., which stands for curriculum vitae.
