No surprise that teams cheat. It goes with the territory. Every player on any team in any sport will do anything they can to win with the only barrier being detection by the game officials. They will lie, fake actions---- anything to try and fool the officials to help their team win.
Those statements are also true for the coaches and staff. Anything goes if you can get away with it. The Patriots got caught. Steal the other teams signals, plays, etc. The pervading philosophy is WINNING justifies the means. They all do it, and it's a way of life in sports. No ethics or principles in sports. Sad, but true.

Yes, if in years to come, if all coaches confess they were also doing it, then that will confirm that NE is a Championship team and their super bowls were well earned. Until then, the facts show that they are cheaters and did not earn it. It was not a level playing field. If you cheat, it will eventually catch up to you. They just didn't get caught until now.

Most of the NFL teams do this, the Patriots just got caught. It is similar to what happens in college football. Most of the powers illegally recruit players etc and another school turns them in.

I don't know, but it is like everyone is doing it so it must be right. I'm glad it happened because it will keep some teams honest.
