Dance is a sport. There are rules. Athletes (dancers) have to be in top-notch physical condition, must know all the moves and rules, and make it look easy to dance, dancing with a smile. But like cheerleading, dancing is viewed as a non-sport....why is that? I think our society needs to re-think what is considered a sport.

yes totally. my sister is a dancer on a competitive dance team at her high school. The things they do are AMAZING. They come home with bruises covering there whole legs. People think that its not a sport but the hard work and dedication they put into it defiantly qualifies it as a sport in my book

human beings will for sure permit you recognize to be careful and so on yet once you're no longer making plans on dancing in them then you are able to nevertheless purchase a pair. It relies upon on the place you reside yet maximum factors have close by dance colleges or expert dancewear shops which will furnish shoes. you would be required to choose for a setting up that can take from everywhere between 10 minutes and an hour. they'll ask you to stand in countless positions and bypass up en pointe. i might purely bypass alongside with it yet while asked in case you choose something alongside with 'ouch pouches' or animal wool, i does not subject getting this in case you're no longer making plans on wearing them as then it starts to get very costly! besides, particular, you will possibly nevertheless have the means to purchase your self a pair of trainers :)

yeah, i think it could totally be a sport.
when i used to cheerlead i considered it a sport, because we competed with other teams, and it really was hard work, you had to build a lot of muscle to lift girls all day.
haha.
but dancers have competitions and they work really hard all day, just as hard as other sports players.
everyone works hard for the sport they do.
dancing is a great sport!
and it should be recognized as a sport.
