ok so I have been with my boyfriend for workin on a year now, we talk about life after we're married all the time. It's just one of those relationships that you just now you are meant for each other. Heres my issue. I can't get him proposing out of my head. I dont want to pressure him and I'm not an any hurry, I know its going to happen. The best way I can explain it is its like baby fever, when you start wanting a baby suddenly everyone and everything around you is relating to pregnancy.. since started thinking about the whole engagment thing, 2 of my friends have gotten engaged and seems like there are more wedding and engagment commericals and shows on then at valentines day... How do I get all of this out of my head?!?!

My best friend just got engaged two days ago, and for the last TWO YEARS she's been talking to me about how she's been wanting him to propose. He took a long time, but it was because he wanted to be sure. It sounds like you two are already really sure, so, like the other guy said, just be patient and let him know (without suffocating him ^_^) how much you love him and maybe that will make it easier for him to work up the courage. That's a big job for the guy!!!

Hey! This is 2007. Stop waiting for him to propose to you and you propose to him. Woman can do that, you know. And a lot of women do.

Just be patient and if someone else is getting engaged it has NOTHING to do with your relationship.
