I've purchased the thermostat, but I don't know where it goes. Can someone provide a link to a schematic or picture?

Follow the upper rad hose to the motor. Where the hose connects to the motor is where you will find your thermostat

If you are having an overheat problem don't waste your time with the thermostat, especially when you don't know what you are doing. I can almost guarantee that changing the thermostat will not help. I would guess you have a radiator problem or maybe a cooling fan problem. Bwfore you do your thing with the thermostat give some problems you are having and maybe someone can help you solve it. NEVER replace any part till you know the problem. If you MUST go with your thermostat don't forget to clean off the old gasket and get a new one. Also be sure you put the thermostat in with the accordion looking end toward the engine.

it quite is sweet below the thermostat housing. do away with the two bolts and you're very practically carried out. of direction you need to empty quite the coolant, do away with the top hose first yet you get the element.

follow your upper radiator hose. Start at the Radiator and follow it to your engine. It sits inside that housing that the hose is connected to.
