Is this illegal in anyway, and is it wrong?

It depends on the state you live in, actually. Several states say anyone over 18 shouldn't be dating someone under 18. Other states say that as long as they are within a certain year range of each other, it is not illegal- 5 years, a few even say 10 years.

Most states agree that if te one party is over 15, hen it is not illegal, though some go as far as 17.

Confusing, isn't it?

Look up Statutory Law for your state and you'll get your real answer.

It is not illegal. When I was 15, I had a boyfriend who was 21 and he emotionally scarred me for life. It is not a good idea at all as things are bound to happen that are illegal.

yes it is illegal, because the boy is under 18.but only if there is any type of sexual relations going on.weather it is wrong or not is a tuff call.if there is sex-yes it's wrong,if not-then it's ok.although once the boy is 18 and the girl is 22 it will be ok legally and ever other way.

Being girlfriend/boyfriend isn't in itself illegal (or wrong), but if it is a sexual relationship, yes, it is illegal because of the ages. She could be in serious trouble. Have you two spoken about it? Do.

illegal= probably, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. age is just an arbitrary number. none of the people here on answers will have a better understanding of the personal dynamics of the relationship better than you, so you should only ask yourself if you're mature enough for the relationship.

illegal: yes. anyone over the age of 18 cannot by law date a person under 18. even if you are 17 and your partner is 15, you could be in trouble. in most states, 16 is the age of consent, and anyone over that age dating anyone under that age could face a fine, jail time, and other punishments, including a restraining order so you two cant be together. even if you like them and they like you back.

it is illegal. it is legally wrong because she is a young adult and should not take advantage of a guy who is under 18 years old. whether it is morally wrong or not just depends on the person and that person's definition of right/wrong.
