All animals should have their basic needs met!
Freedom from thirst, hunger & malnutrition
Freedom from discomfort
Freedom from pain, injury & disease
Freedom to express normal behaviour
Freedom from fear & distress !
Stray animals are not having these needs considered!
The best solution is to have them spayed & neutered!
Never buy from a pet store!
Not only are you purchasing a pet that was most likely born under horrific conditions in a puppy mill, you are also denying a home to an animal whose life depends on adoption!
#1...Spay or Neuter
#2...Adopt A Shelter Pet
#3...Volunteer at your local shelter or Humane Society!
Remember.One Pet At A Time!......YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Get your local animal shelter/dog pound to have a spay/neuter policy on all animals going out for adoption. You will have to raise some serious money, perhaps you can get assistance from grants or the Humane Society. Always have your animals fixed, and talk to your friends and neighbors about the benefits. Get a group together in your area and do all you can. Our little group that wanted to stop the strays from being sold to chemical research labs turned into quite a nice humane society after a few years of hard work and dedication. You will need to raise awareness. Contact the Humane Society for more information.

People can be more responsible and know the whereabouts of their pets or at least when they stray away they could have a small collar attachment notifying the owner if this occurs. If people do not want to deal with overpopulation and especially in their pets they can get their pet spayed or neutered.

i think of all animals must be unfastened to roam as they have because of the fact the beginning up of time yet once you recommend pets like canines and cats then there must be necessary micro chips placed into all animals that come from breeders to song the stray puppy back to the owner and advantageous them for forsaking an animal.

Stop selling them in pet shops or have desexing included in the price.

get them desexed.

Unfortunately until people become responsible then we are always going to have strays which is very sad but it because of humans that we have this problem.

Having our pets desexed will ultimately cut down on numbers but it will not solve the problem.

People need to spay/neuter their animals....maybe if there was low cost spaying/neutering for people who can't afford it. I know it cost us about $250 to spay our cat. Thats a lot of money that some people don't want or can't afford to spend.

you can find one and keep them and make a pet adoption center at ur house or get one and give it to the vet to let them see it first to see if they're okay and then raise it or give it to a pet adoption center
