You dont , the only person who can stop it is her and until she is willing to admit it is an addiction and she has a problem you just have to sit back and watch her spiral out of control .
I'm sorry you have to go through this my brother's do drug's so does my 17 year old son and I am doing everything in my power to help him off them but everytime I think I'm getting through my idiot brother's show up and ruin it.If I could keep him away from them I might stand half a chance but he has to admit he wants help and stick to it so until he does I just have to sit and shed my tears and hope against all odd's I dont get a knock on my front door from police asking me to come and identify his body.

You can't. The person has to be ready for the change for the detox to be effective. You can badger them into it but will have wasted time, effort, sanity and loads of money on it when they are high an hour after their release. The best thing you can do for her is give her emotional support. What ever you do, don't let her live with you or give her any money, or it will mysteriously dissappear before it gets to the electric company.

An intervention ending with her going to rehab. Of course if it's a 'marijuana addiction' then no rehab is going to take her because there is no such thing as marijuana withdrawl, so she can quit on her own or seek the help of a therapist or continue to smoke/eat in a responsible manner.

You can not stop her from doing anything. You can talk to her and ask if there is anything that you could do to help her stop, but you cann't stop her. She has to want to help herself, even if she goes to treatment, if she doesn't want to stop she won't. Sometimes you have to leave them to do their thing and stay away from them. If it bothers them enough to lose their family, it might make them think. Just be there if she does need help.

The only person who can help your sister kick her drug habit is GOD. She is on a path that you have no control of, don't enable her by giving her money, or rides unless to a rehab. She has to face her demons in order to beat her addiction.

you can't help her unless she wants help and will admit she has a problem. my husband had the same problem. but he thought he had no problem. he died 15 months ago. father of 2 beautiful children and the only child from his parents.

Don'[t waste your time trying. Only she can control a habit of that magnitude.

You can't. Only SHE can stop and that is IF she recognizes that she has a problem and IF she WANTS to stop.

You can try in intervention. It works only if she agrees to do so.
