I don't think any of us know more about football than Jimi Johnson, he also predicted that they would go 10-6 at the start of the season. I am probably the biggest Lion's critic in Detroit and have watched the games and I think this team has more talent than when they went 12-4 and to the NFC Championship in the Barry sander's era.1/2 the players are new this year and they need time to gel and gain confidence. With a no huddle 4 receiver offense their unstoppable against any nickle defense.
David A: Don't say the vikings lost because of mistakes. The lions made as many as your Vikings did. 5 turn overs by Detroit, 6 by the Viking's Penalties were about the same and we both missed game winning field goals in the last min. the big difference was that the lions are a better team period. oh, i forgot to mention that the lions QB was injured for 1/2 the game.

properly right that's a run down of all the two-0 communities: Washington, green Bay, Detroit, New England, massive apple Jets, Buffalo, Houston The Patriots, Packers, and Jets do no longer ask your self me in any respect because of the fact they are are sturdy The Texans performed some fairly susceptible 2 communities, and it would not ask your self me that their 2-0 The charges beat the Raiders and Chiefs. that's fairly remarkable because of the fact the Chiefs have been a playoff team. The Lions beat the Chiefs and Bucs. The Lions beat 2 communities with triumphing checklist a season in the past with blowouts. I estimated the Lions to be sturdy, yet this sturdy? And the Skins beat the Giants and Cardinals. They incredibly beat the two communities nevertheless and depended on previous due turnovers by ability of the Giants and a one pt pastime against Arizona. i could say i'm maximum shocked by ability of Washington nevertheless. they don't have a stable QB like Fitzpatrick or Stafford and that they don't have a stable working back. to boot Santana Moss, no one seems incredible on offense. i'm maximum inspired by ability of Detroit nevertheless, after back to back blowouts. BQ: Lions will. Redskins have an extremely difficult branch with Philly, NYG, and Dallas. i think of all 3 of those communities can beat Washington extremely. additionally, Buffalo has a similar situation as washington and that i do in comparison to their possibilities. Washington and Buffalo have continuously choked quicker or later. Lions have a huge gamble to be 2d interior the branch and look sharp Prediciton: Redskins: 8-8 charges 7-9 Lions 10-6

I would think they can still make the playoffs, if they were 0-2 it would make more sense. Anyway to your thoughts. I also see the Packers at 2-0 and Bears at 1-1 and Vikings are 1-1. So looking at where I see the Lions and really think the Lions may be close but just miss it. If they DO make 10-6 then yeah they should be in the playoffs.

As per your request, I'll go ahead and laugh. You can also think I'm an "idiot", but there's no way that the Lions are going to the playoffs. They'll have a better season, just because of the ebb and flow of players, but they're not quite playoff material yet. I'll save this question so I can email you when playoff time comes around.

You are obviously a lions fan. So I will go out on a limb and say that you boldly predicted they would be in the Superbowl last year and the year before that and the year before that etc. So forgive me if I don't deem you the greatest prognosticator ever. And by the way they may or may not make the play offs in that week azz division but the Superbowl? come on man at least be a little realistic.

As long as you can find some crappier defenses to play, you guys should do alright. Your Division is Defense central though.....With Detroit being the only pass happy Offense (gotta love Martz.....always a kick to watch his teams). I can't remember the rest of your schedule....but unless you guys got teams like Baltimore and Pitt, on top of your division games....you should score at least a wildcard (and Kitna is my second QB.....keep putting up the yards baby.....between him and Palmer I am the King this week!).

well, the lions played a heck of a game against the vikings. that was a tab bit more difficult than the raiders. however, they aren't a very good football team. detroit will get its tests in the next couple weeks playing in philly, and against chicago. good luck. if you manage to beat them, then dang, lions are for real. playoffs are a possibility, but i highly doubt the super bowl.

ok man calm down about the superbowl, playoffs are reasonable. My team is the vikings and I know you guys won but you didnt look superbowl bound lol. Our qb Tavaris threw 4 picks and we had two fumbles you still almost lost to us. If lions make the playoffs it will be a quick and embarrasing exit so just save the humilation, you guys have been the joke of the NFC North since its been established

Easy there Lightnin', they MIGHT make the play-offs but if we don't agree with your poorly thought out, twisted view of the Lions we're "idiots"? Have you forgotten who your team is?
