How do Las Vegas Casinos operate 24 hours a Day 7 Days a Week. I mean what does it take to make that money machine run around the clock. What drives it to keep going ?

they are open all day and night, because people go there and gamble the whole time, its worth it to keep open all the time for them because they are constantly making money.

Same reason Atlantic City Casinos are open 24 hours a day. People are gambiling 24/7 so they are open 24/7. If they didn't make money, they wouldn't be open. Kind of a dumb question don't you think? Oh yeah, Vegas casino employees do NOT make minimum wage. They are contracted as Vegas is the biggest unionized town in the country. They have strong unions too. They do work for tips, but read a tipping guide for Vegas and it will tell you. Most people overtip there because that's what they think they are supposed to do. It is a tipping town but a little info will help you to tip the ones who need it most, and those who need it less. Of course, if you get great service anywhere, you should tip accordingly.

Time in Las Vegas is irrelevant, hard to find a clock anywhere, and everything from casinos to restaurants open 24/7. BTW, most casino employees are paid minimum wage, they live on tips, so with Casinos pulling in Millions, cost to run it is cheap.

Greed makes the casinos open all the time. The gamblers want to make money but always lose (aggregate) because the odds are against winning.

Very large staffs and lots of money...People spending it! Also the excitement of the place. So much to do and see. Not just gambling. There is no place like it that I've see. (I'm sure there are other cool places)

It's so unlike where I live, I think that's the draw for most people.

Well what drives it is that the cashino keeps earning money from people who play in the cashino and if you stay at the hotel!
