Elvis is a truly talented singer, and there's no one like him alive, but to say he's the best singer ever, that's a whole lot of singers and genres. Elvis may be the best popular singer in the 20th century.

Same. Bobby is my favorite song writer of all time, however that being said, there's a whole lot of genres out there. I'm content with calling him the poet Laureate of Rock music.

Neither, both are boring. Elvis is a drug addict, and a sell out for all youth, nothing but a wash up. Bob Dylan is cool, but not up beat. The Beatles are the best song writers and singers. No doubt about that.

Check out the Traveling Wilbury's if you like Bob Dylan. The Traveling Wilbury's is great becaus it has all the famous writers & singers. Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison & Jeff Lynn.

Elvis...he did no longer write, yet he had an excellent voice...Plus, his effect on rock (and song in maximum circumstances) became into lots larger than Dylan's. Elvis delivered the black R&B sound to a lots broader objective audience, and stimulated the countless appropriate bands and artists ever (Dylan being one among them). i think of Dylan ought to have only been a poet fairly than a musician...or a minimum of write for different artists or some thing...Dylan is probable the suited lyricists of all time, yet what's alluring words once you could no longer even understand them? nevertheless don't get me incorrect, I do like Dylan, and he had a extensive effect on song. nevertheless he in actuality only stimulated human beings to place in writing in a distinctive way.

Dylan wrote some great songs, but Elvis is the best singer? Really? He is OK.

He is not the king of rock n roll as the king of Rock n roll should have written at least one song.

Did you know that not a single song is credited as being written by Elvis? Not one song!

Even Michael Jackson ( The King of Pop ) wrote songs.

Elvis was the early version of Kevin Federline - but K Fed at least wrote sometime ; not that it's great, but at least it's his.

Elvis was likely a lot of fun to do drugs with, but after all those drugs, you think he could write one song at least? Everyone else could.

I think Jonny Cash and Frank Sinetra have Elvis beat by a million years.

How about Elvis singing a Bob Dylan song? Listen to Tomorrow Is A Long Time if you haven't heard it.

Personally, I love everything about Bob...including his voice. He gets me every time...I just shelled out $110 for one ticket to see him this Wednesday. The sad thing is that I'd probably have paid $300.
