The median would be the middle number in a series of numbers, the mode is the number that occurs most frequently.

You meant mode (not mpde). Median is that value which divides the sample or the population into two halves, when arranged in an order.

Mode is the single most frequent value in a frequency distribution.

the mode is the data that is the most frequent.
remember, there is not always a mode though.

the median is the (numerical) data that is in the middle after the data has been sorted into order.

median-u put the numbers in order from least to greatest and its the number in the middle.
Mode- is the number that occurs the most in a group of numbers.
