OF COURSE NOT!!! A magnet near your hard drive can cause it to malfunction SEVERELY! :"( The processor does not spin, it is totally different than that hard drive. The processor processes information. The hard drive stores information. They have nothing to do with each other. Spinning faster will not do your hard drive any good, or make it run faster. If your computer is too slow, your only way out is buy a newer, faster computer.

I don't know about the processor, but I do know it messes up the screen and memory. Try it, you'll see what i'm talking about... :0)
