Literature. I am an english major and I find it is very easy to compare lyrics to songs to certain books. My favorite example: Laurie Halse Anderson's book, SPEAK and Cartel's song RUNAWAY. The two almost go together but are two very different forms of literature.

You could compare music to one of the body's systems, like the nervous system, reproductive system, etc. If the parts of these systems don't work in unison, like the notes in a song, then the system doesn't work properly, like the music doesn't sound in tune. Get it?? I hope. :)

Very much related to mathmatics.

Music uses 3rds, 4ths, and 5ths in most chord progressions.
You may have to research music to fully understand it, unless you know music.

Too much to explain here.

Good luck.
