btw, i wouldn't say it's pride. maybe for some people. but, there are other reasons as well.

Because once you do, you can't go back to how it was before. The secret is out. Fear of the unknown. But it's okay to ask for help. I am always surprise to find that people really do want to help and care. You just gotta trust them and give them the chance to show you that.

No one wants to appear to be weak. Same reasons men don't ask for directions.
Ego.
Do you realize that if Moses had been a woman, she would have asked for directions to begin with & not wandered around for 40 years. Plus, she would have bought a map from one of the Egyptians on her way out of Egypt.

Perhaps because we are afraid of being misjudged, or that we simply don't know how to ask without feeling like we're intruding. Those are some reasons why I find it hard to ask for help.

Because sooner or later you have to repay the favour and you are also afraid that whoever you are asking for help will not do it with genuine feeling.

Person who is proudy, self centered, selfish alway find it difficult to ask for help, because they are not making head down before any one.
