Press the MODE button. Use the DOWN ARROW to highlight FLOAT. Press ENTER. Press 2ND QUIT. You will be back to decimal mode.

Hi,
If your calculator is really rounding up to the nearest whole number; then try setting the MODE to FLOAT as someone else suggested.
The answer that you say you are getting is not rounding to the nearest whole number. For example, 22/3 = 7.33333.... which with a worst-case setting of Fix 0 would give you 7.
If you're really getting what you reported, sounds as if you have an unusual problem. Although there are things I would do if it were mine, you probably should call TI.

I'm just trying to figure out how you got 76 when you divided 22 by 3. I got an answer of 7.33333. As far as the other issue I can't help, sorry.

If your TI is giving you 76 for 22/3, it is sick.

Try 22./3. and see what you get.
