Dad would always bring us any comic we wanted. I liked the Mandy, read the Tracey, nicked my brother's 2000 AD but left my sister to her Jackie, My Guy and The Listener.
We also regularly got the Judy and the Jinty. When I got older, I got the American comics Amazing Stories and Astounding Tales.

You're all reminding me of other regulars we had too. I'm sure Dad bought them all for us. We had the Bunty, of course we had the Bunty. I used to also nick our Paul's Commando comics and his Whizzer & Chips. Boys' reading fodder seemed so much more interesting than that for girls. Although there were a few stories I liked. The Mandy ran a story about a group of friends who would all be sucked into worlds where their individual interests ruled .... there was Sporty World ... Fatty World etc.
Then there was the story about a girl who was transported to a world where humans were kept as pets but she managed to persuade her owner that she was more than a dumb animal and was allowed to walk around without her lead on which frightened the life out of the other 'aliens'.
