3M blue painters tape will do what you want. Do not leave any tape on longer than you have to.

Pick up some painters tape from a hardware store,the tape is used by house painters.

the blue tape they use in house painting. Low sticking and easily removed

You can get tape from hardware and automotive shops, its 3m and has a low stick to it
