when you hear the phrase " come and go" what comes to mind?

i have to draw a picture on an essay i wrote and the main theme is "people come and go". what symbols can i draw for that?

When I hear, or read, your phrase I think of fads, or in the case of people, Hollywood stars. For example, Prince was "in" during the 80's but he's "out" now. What about drawing a timeline showing the "in" stars throughout the last 6 or 7 decades?

You might consider a door with an overhead "COME" and people going through the door and on the other side "GO" with people going through that door.
